Hello to all you NSA Cruisers!
Jason and I are looking forward to seeing you all out on the water for our first cruise of the season. So exciting!
In light of the significant rate increases in Beaufort, we have decided to head to Southwest Creek inside South River for the Spring Cruise April 25-26. If you haven’t made this trip before, please try to fit it into your schedule. It is Oriental’s best kept secret, a true gem of a spot only a few hours’ cruise from town. Perfect for a Spring shakedown!
Some are going Friday and some are going Saturday. The social is 4pm on Saturday at the beach. Please bring a dish to share and whatever beverages you prefer. Keeping with the new policy for this year, alcoholic beverages will not be provided by the club.
Let’s use VHF 68 to get in touch. I know the cell service can be spotty out there and I don’t want to rely on Facebook or texting/Whatsapp to relay messages once we are on route.
If you have some firewood you can bring, please do, and we can burn what we find as well. See you on the water and bring a jacket with you for the bonfire. Temps can be chilly once the sun goes down!
- BYODC – Bring Your Own Dishes and Cups to events to cut back on trash and be environmentally friendly.
- Make sure to fly your BURGEE during the Event!
