Fall is right around the corner and it’s time to start planning for what I think is the best time of year for being on the water.
For the Halloween cruise, we will be heading to Ocracoke for the Blackbeard’s Festival. This is a great weekend to be in Ocracoke, with lots of great pirate-themed activities and of course all the usual charm of the local haunts (yes, pun intended).
There are several options: a slip at the Anchorage Marina, anchoring in Silver Lake, or the Government Docks, which are first come, first served.
We will announce a social on Saturday when we are settled (hopefully on the government docks).
Break out your best pirate gear and be ready for a spooktacular weekend!
- BYODC – Bring Your Own Dishes and Cups to events to cut back on trash and be environmentally friendly.
- RYOS – Reserve Your Own Slip – for cruises with Marinas. We will send list to Marina, but you are responsible for calling and reserving slip with Marina.
- Make sure to fly your BURGEE during the Event!
