On Saturday, May 9, we will sail to Cherry Point MCAS and anchor to watch the show.

    Our planned anchorage is just inside Slocum Creek. Since most powerboats typically go further up the creek, we expect this area to be less crowded. Please note that if strong southwest winds cause low water levels, we will move the anchorage to the river instead.

      Depending on the weather and the number of boats, we may raft up to watch the show together. I have confirmed with the base that overnight anchoring is permitted, though some participants may prefer to return to their slips after the show concludes.

     I have attached a map showing the planned anchorage area and hope to see you there.
